If you are anything like me, sitting on the sofa with a warm cup of tea, soft music playing in the background, simply browsing the net for a new place to visit, is your daily morning routine! We all love the relaxed and cozy atmosphere of home. What if I tell you, there are a few Cafes in Vienna, that make you feel just like home. Their charming design, friendly staff, homemade food, and homelike atmosphere make me visit over and over again. So here are my top 5 most charming coffee shops in Vienna:
- Wunderladen – Cafe and Women’s Clothing Store
Address: Argentinierstraße 1, Vienna 1040, Austria
Coffee and Fashion in one? Sign me up!
Located in Vienna’s 4th district, just behind Karlskirche, Wunderladen is simply the place to visit! Take a sit on one of the big cozy chairs, breath in the smell of a fresh bunch of flowers and enjoy a large cup of your favourite hot beverage and a piece of homemade cake. The decor is beautiful – perfect till every detail. The merch – clothing, jewellery, and accessories – is designed by local artist. I would recommend it over and over!
2. Vollpension – feels like granny’s home!
Address: Schleifmühlgasse 16, Vienna 1040, Austria
Another great coffeehouse located in Vienna’s 4th district. Vollpension is the definition of coziness. If you feel far from home or you haven’t seen your grandparents in a while, this place will cheer you up. The furniture are brilliant! The decor somehow funny and heartwarming. There is always nice music playing, a warm pie coming out of the oven, a lot of friendly, cheerful people. A place to be!
3. 12 Munchies – the American dream
