Creamy Chia Pudding Recipe / Vegan

Chia seeds are one of the healthiest and most nutritious foods on the planet! They make the perfect overnight breakfast and are very easy to prepare.

Chia pudding – my go-to breakfast for busy mornings. It takes 5 minutes to prepare, you can leave it in the fridge overnight, it is one of the healthiest meals that you can possibly have and it is super delicious. What more could you possibly want, right?

Here are some of the chia seeds health benefits:

  1. High in Omega-3 Fatty Acids.
  2. High in Quality Protein.
  3. High in Nutrients.
  4. High in Antioxidants.
  5. They can help you lose weight.
  6. Lower the risk of heart disease and type 2 diabetes.

More information

Chia Pudding Base Ingredients:

  • 1 cup almond milk
  • 3 tbsp chia seeds
  • 1 tbsp maple syrup
  • optional: 1 tsp protein powder

for the Vanilla-Berry Chia Pudding add:

 

for the Cacao-Peanut Butter Chia Pudding add:

Method (for 1 chia pudding):

  1. Put the base ingredients in a small bowl and mix them well.
  2. From here you can add any additional flavor that you like.

Vanilla-Berry Chia Pudding:

  • add the vanilla extract and the protein powder and mix well;
  • leave in the refrigerator overnight;
  • enjoy in the morning with a handful of fresh or frozen berries.

Cacao-Peanut Butter Chia Pudding:

  • add the cacao powder and the peanut butter and mix well;
  • leave in the refrigerator overnight;
  • enjoy in the morning with a half sliced banana on top.

And there you have your delicious, creamy chia pudding. It’s one of my favorite breakfast/desserts. I usually make a whole bunch on the weekend and have something easy to grab in the morning. It keeps me full and happy until lunch and it is sososo good for my body.
