The Salzkammergut, which means “Estate of the Salt Chamber”, is a beautiful resort area in Austria, named a UNESCO World Heritage Site. It is seriously so breathtaking, that many tourists chose to explore it instead of Vienna or the Alps.

I promised a part 2 of beautiful, inspirational photographs from the region, so here they are.

Explore Austria: Dachstein Salzkammergut Region | Part 1

It is so amazing to take a boat ride and enjoy the sun, the lake, the mountains around you. Have something to drink and take a few… or lots of photos of the surroundings. We had only one pair of glasses with us and it was so sunny that we had to fight for it and steal it from each other every chance we had.

This is my happy place and would love to know which are your, so be sure to write a comment and tell me a little bit about it.

Thank you for reading and I hope you were inspired at least a little bit by Dachstein Salzkammergut. It is a wonderful place that definitely deserved 3 posts!
