Being on holiday can be hard sometimes…

If you are in a beautiful place and love to explore, you end up pretty tired. We were supposed to get up at 7:30 am for our 3,5h private boat trip (starting at 8:30), but we were so late. So our boat trip was 3 hours instead…. which simply wasn’t long enough. But we still managed to have an amazing time!  Our trip in Laganas National Marine Park started with a circle around Cameo Island, then we headed straight to a small rocky beach on one side of Marathonisi Island. A pretty cool place with a cave right next to it. It isn’t too crowded because the only way to get there is to rent a private boat.

After an hour at Marathonisi, we headed to the Keri Caves – such a beautiful sight! If you have more time, you should definitely stop at some of the small beaches for sunbathing. We didn’t have much time left, so we decided to make a swimming stop next to some beautiful rock formations. It was so much fun! Many other boats stopped close to us and you could only hear laughter from the people jumping from the boats. Out watermelon float is always a funny sight to everyone but it is perfect to relax and enjoy the surroundings. The most impressive thing has to be the water though! It is so so clear!

After going back to Laganas we were super tired and chilled by the pool for a few hours. Laganas’ main road is rather crowded and loud at night time, but it is still nice to go out for an evening walk around the area.

I hope you are enjoying our travel diary entries. I try to keep them short and with a lot of photos.

Thank you for reading!

Love, Sandra
